The PH Septima by Poul Henningsen debuted as a prototype at the Danish Museum of Decorative Art in 1928. Built on Henningsen's three-shade system, the design features seven Italian borosilicate glass shades that elegantly diffuse light while preventing glare, showcasing his mastery of functional and poetic lighting.
After being discontinued in the 1940s due to material shortages, the PH Septima was reintroduced by Louis Poulsen in 2020. This modern reissue, based on the original PH Septima 5, faithfully preserves Henningsen's legacy of innovative design.
