Poul Henningsen is one of the most influential lighting designers of the 20th century. His innovative three-shade system was designed to eliminate light glare while emitting a soft, beautiful glow.

The Pale Rose Edition features pale rose colored glass paired with unlacquered brushed brass elements that will develop a natural patina overtime.

Poul Henningsen
Poul Henningsen, born in Copenhagen in 1894 to Danish writers Agnes Henningsen and Carl Ewald, initially trained as a functionalist architect before making his mark as a pioneering lighting designer. His shift to lighting design brought a modern sensibility to the field, most notably with his groundbreaking PH Lamp, which redefined how light interacts with its environment by addressing glare with his three-shade design system, setting new standards for modern illumination.
